The River Itchen At Ovington
The cold clear waters of the River Itchen flow through Ovington. There is a very nice riverside walk here that is reached by crossing the bridge in the foreground. This scene was taken on a cold clear winters Sunday morning. I always find this is one of the most pleasant times to be out with a camera. The River Itchen is well known for its trout fishing. People pay a lot of money for the priviledge of fishing the Itchens waters.
